Galaxy gymnast Giselle Reda has a lot to celebrate after an outstanding level 10 season!
Her accomplishments in the 2025-2026 season included:
- 4th place all around at USAG Nationals
- 1st place all around at USAG Region 6 Regionals
- 1st place on bars at both Regionals and New York State Championships
- 1st place on beam at Regionals
- Along with 2 all around first places and 9 event 1st places at other meets throughout the season
Her standing at Nationals also qualified Giselle to attend the Level 10 National Team Camp, making her the first Galaxy gymnast in over 15 years to receive such an honor!
This fall Giselle will be a senior at Suffern High School and has also competed high school gymnastics the past two seasons earning the accolade of Rockland Gymnast of the Year in both 2025 and 2026 (co-Gymnast with fellow Galaxy gymnast Khloe Henshaw), and placed second at the New York High School State Championships this past season.
And next fall, Giselle will be attending the University of Maryland on a full gymnastics scholarship where she plans to study pre-med with the hope of becoming a radiologist.
A few fun facts about Giselle:
Her favorite food is sushi.
Her favorite color is green.
Her favorite show is Grey’s Anatomy.
And her favorite vacation was to Aruba and snorkeling in the middle of the ocean.
We’re so glad to have Giselle as a member of the Galaxy team. Her hard work and positive attitude have no doubt contributed to her tremendous success and makes her an incredible role model for the rest of the Galaxy team, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in her final year at Galaxy and into her future!
