By creating a new .org website we were able to obtain free website hosting, which will save the club almost $300 a year in hosting fees. We also have access to better functionality and customization to fit the needs of our ever evolving world and organization. The original .com website will be taken down and redirected here shortly.
We have also registered with Zeffy, a payment processing service for nonprofits which charges our organization no fees; we receive 100% of all payments sent through Zeffy.
This means:
- There is now a page for making donations directly to our club
- We can use Zeffy for in person sales such as the used leo fundraiser and concessions at hosted meets (with no processing fees)
- We can create order forms for fundraisers like Krispy Kreme
- We can run raffles directly through Zeffy with all purchases made online (no more collecting and turning in cash and paper tickets)
Also make sure you’re following our new Booster Club Instagram where we will be sharing fundraisers and team accomplishments throughout the season.
All team member parents are also able to register for an account in order to access member’s only content on the website.
Each account is individually authorized and may take 24-48 hours to be approved. To expedite approval, please use the same email as on the team roster, or use your gymnast’s name as your username.
The new website is still a work in progress and we’re still working out the functionality so please be patient with any glitches that may occur.
Once in the member only section you will have access to:
- Team Announcements including fundraising wrap ups and important messages from the board
- Upcoming and Current Fundraisers
- Competition Schedule
- Team Calendar
- Team Event Photos and Information (more coming through the season!)
- Team documents including membership dues schedule; team roster; booster club yearly budget
